Twist 2.0 ... and Binaries for Microsoft Windows

This is the Twist 2.0 image distortion plug-in written by Peter Uray.

"[...] The twist maps the input image onto the output image by translating the original pixels according to a 2d vector field which is determined by the selected distortion function. In order to support the user's creativity some parameters (up to eight, depending on the function type selected) can be adjusted, resulting in different effects. The output of the twist plugin is a geometrically distorted image. All this applies to layers as well as to images. The effect of a selected parameter setting can be viewed interactively in the preview image. [...]"

Seems that it is currently hard to find on the net; hopefully this will become better. Attached are the sources and binaries for Microsoft Windows.

Hight Quality Upscale" Plugin

Are included the Windows version of 4 plugins developed by Nicolas Robidoux and Adam Turcotte from Universite Laurentienn/Laurentian University and compiled for Windows by Francois Collard

once installed the plugin will be available in the Image/Hq Rescale/submenu with cryptic names as
1"EANBQH"
2 "EANBQHgamma"
3"IBFNBQ"
4"IBFNBQHgamma"
That names are the acronym of the algorithms used,
"EANBQH" correspond to " SMOOTH"
"IBFNBQ" to "SHARP"
postfix "gamma "indicate added gamma correction

The developer consider this plug-ins a preliminary version, more exactly were a proof of concept to demonstrate the quality of new Upscaling algorithms (when they were proposed to the gimp developers ,they should be included in GEGL in the future)

But ,as they are, already offer better results for upscaling,and this for me is the basic point and a good reason to package and mirror the Windows version,also because a simple hack to the original plugins registration paths was sufficient to improve usability

Gimp-image-subtraction-plugin Win32

Just a Win32 compilation of Alexandre Heitor Schmidt's gimp-image-subtraction-plugin. Works with Gimp v2.6
I only changed the name "gimp-plugin-template" to "image-subtraction" in all source files before compiling with msys/MinGW. I didn't include translations or help, which are empty files and wouldn't work even under Linux.
Filter is still found in [Image]/Filters/Misc/Image subtraction. Tell me whether you like a better place.
Just copy the executable named "image-subtraction.exe" into c:\Documents and Settings\username\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins\ or c:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\

Focus Blur Binaries for Microsoft Windows

Windows binariers for the focus blur plug-in by Kyoichiro Suda.

Unfortunately without FFTW3 so far (because I do not have it on my system yet), and thus slow.

The attachment is meant to be extracted into the GIMP program directory, if you want to place it elsewhere, just drop the executable to the right place. Translations for Italian, Japanese and Russian are included.
