Add EXIF...

From the same 'meetthegimp' thread as the previous poster, patdavid, but my version is sufficiently different to merit a post of its own, I think.
Should work in Linux and Windows and have a few more options so had to rework the dialog to barely fit on my Windows portable!

Add EXIF Info to Image

This plugin, when combined with Phil's Exiftool, will place EXIF data from your image directly onto your image as text layers.

It currently will place Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, and camera Make.

All I did in modifying it was to (in windows only) have each EXIF tag be placed on the image canvas as separate text layers for further modification (font, size, justification, etc...).

Updated PhotoLab script with modified borders and save metadata in JPGs.

Add Borders and Copyright information in Gimp
I modified the batch processing plug-in for Gimp called PhotoLab to add a border that I liked better than the original. I also added copyright information that is written on the border. The biggest hurdle though was Gimp itself -- the built-in jpg save functions lose all the metadata, including the photo-taken timestamp that I use to sort the photos and the photo captions.

Exif Viewer Binaries for Microsoft Windows

Windows binaries for the Exif Viewer plug-in by Bill Skaggs.

Exif Viewer

This is an Exif Viewer, mainly for jpeg photos taken with a digital camera. It is an update of the "Exif Browser" plugin from the old registry. It requires a recent version of libexif (tested with 0.6.16).

Instructions for Linux:

You need to have gimp already installed on your system. After downloading the file exif-browser.tar.gz, do the following steps.
