Gimp Plugins installers for Win32

Several Windows users think that installing Gimp plugins under Windows is hard.

As I was playing around with Inno Setup, I randomly chose these plugins, only because I had just a new Windows 32 compilation of them, and I release those first plugin installers without any warranty.

They should work on any Windows version, but I'm waiting for feedbacks.

These are automated Windows installers. Please, do not copy the setup files into your Gimp plug-ins directory!

Index print or contact sheet (with exif and raw support)

An indexprint or contactsheet is an image that traditionally contains the negative images of an entire roll of film. Photographers used such sheets to index prints or as a proof page to decide which prints to enlarge.

Indexprint is a very useful tool to show the contents of a folder, for web design projects and galleries, personal work, or just to have a record of any archive folder in your (external) hard drives. Indexprint let you easily preview and catalog groups of images by displaying a series of (small) images on a single or multiple pages.

Edge Glow

A simple script to make the edges of a selection or layer glow with the selected colour. The script will act on the active selection first, and if it cannot find that, the alpha channel of the current layer. All changes are made to a separate layer so you can duplicate, mask and move them around to your heart's content.

EAW Sharpen Plugin

EAW Sharpen is a filter which sharpens an image without annoying halos.
It's based on Mikes Python plugin:

Warming and Cooling Filters

Update: November 10, 2010 - minor bug fix to unselect after applying warming.

A couple of recent threads in the Gimp Users group on Flickr concerned how to warm or otherwise change the tone of an image. Since moving to The Gimp, I truly missed my warming filter, and didn't know how best to do this manually. This script takes some of the wonderful tips and suggestions and automates them.

Some of the script options are explained as follows

Draw guides

Draw guides is a simple script which draws guides using current pencil on the current layer. Useful if you want to see guides when you print the image.

Postcard

Creates the effect of a vintage postcard or greeting card using floral type images, possibly others.
Script will be found at Filter->Artistic->Postcard.

Translated to The Gimp from the Photoshop tutorial found at http://www.photoshopcafe.com/tutorials/sketch/sketch.htm.

I am presently teaching myself Scheme and Script-Fu, and this script is a learning experience for me-- YMMV. Let me know if it does, and I'll see what I can do about it.

Stit-ch-art 2.0

The Stit-ch-art is a script-fu extension for the GIMP. Stit-ch-art creates a cross-stitching chart based on a given image. It applies the modified Madeira palette with 256 colors on the copy of the image, and then scans it pixel by pixel for color codes while generating black and white chart ready for printing (includes color legend from Madeira).

The attached zip-file contains the script stitchart.scm, readme.txt, and 2 palettes: madeira.gpl and madeira256.gpl.

Descreen

Descreen is a script that does descreening using the FFT Fourier plugin ( http://registry.gimp.org/node/19596 )

This script does descreening without blurring the image.

It can descreen the following picture :

And gives the following picture :

Merge Animation

This script takes two animations, using layers as frames, and merges them together with the blend mode and offsets specified. You can choose to make the animation length be the LCM of the two animation lengths, or the minimum length.
