Path follow updated

Blur added

Python script: stitch layers

sometimes a full picture does not fit on the scanner and we have to scan it in parts and join them with gimp. This script facilitates binding of the various parts through paths, more info and download in http://www.arakne.es/en/dessign/gimp-script-stitch-layers/

Python script: Follow path

Repeat a layer following a path, the plugin can rotate the cloned layer following the path direction or leave with the same orientation and you can choose group the cloned layers or merge in only one layer, download from http://www.arakne.es/en/dessign/gimp-plugin-follow-path/

Rotate about two points

Python plugin for rotate the image based on a two points path, more info and download in

Pixelart Scaler

A pixelart scaler which supports scale2x/scale3x and eagle2x/eagle3x.These are palette preserving algorithms so they might not give the desired effect on images with semi-transparent pixels.

CEGUI Animation Exporter

CEGUI Uses imagesets and animation XML to perform animations with images (No GIFS for U)

This plugin creates a film strip style image from layers of a single image, along with the necessary xml files needed by CEGUI to use the strip in an animation.

Resynthesizer v1.0 for Linux and Windows

This is a suite of ten Gimp plugins known as the 'Resynthesizer'. The most commonly used is 'Heal selection' but all use the plugin whose full interface is found at 'Filters>Map>Resynthesize.'

resynthesizer.tar.gz is an archive for Linux.
Resynthesizer_v1.0-i686.zip is an archive for Windows.

The plugins require Gimp and Python. (Or, there exists a script-fu 'Heal selection' plugin that does not require Python.)

To install, download the appropriate file, uncompress it, and copy the files to the standard place for Gimp plugins.

Adaptive layer background

This script creates a background for the given layer, containg some kind of color gradient, but adaptive to the layer’s contents.

Highlight from selection (German/English)

ResultThis script adds a filter for highlighting the contents of a selection by adding blur and desaturation (both optional) to the layer’s other contents (it creates a new layer for that).

gaussian pyramid

Generates a sequence of images that is a Gaussian pyramid.

Probably not useful except to learn what a Gaussian pyramid is: a sequence of down-sampled images.

The top of the pyramid can be a one pixel image with the average color of the original.

Appears as Filters>Render>Gaussian pyramid...

Uses Python and PyGIMP.
