Noise generator

This filter generates noise in an image. Available noise types are

  • Poisson noise
  • Gaussian noise
  • Uniform noise
  • Laplace noise
  • Lorentz noise
  • It is possible to generate (YCbCr) luminance noise only and to apply a gamma correction.

    General description

This filter noisifies an image with different types of noise. For each noise type it's specific values can be set. These are

Export All Layers to Anime Studio Project (ANME)

This is to use if you have Anime Studio (v5), and want to convert your layered image into an character on that program. The script works on GIMP 2.4.2 and Anime Studio 5, and that's all I've tried it on. Each layer is saved as a 24-bit PNG, using each layer's name as a base, and referenced in the output ANME file. You can choose the output folder for both the ANME file and the image files. You can also rename the ANME file to something besides the base image name, but if unspecified, the ANME's name is the same as the image name, minus the extension.

Feather/Isolate

Make a blurry border around the selection and make everything else transparent. Designed for "highlighting" part of a screenshot or other large image.

Offset segment

This script makes the offset of a segment in the active image.

print-helper

A Script to guide you to colour-managed printing,

WHAT DOES THIS DO?

Typically colour rendering differs between devices (monitors, printers). Aside of calibrating the devices to a defined state colour-profiles are used to describe the behaviour of the output-devices. Gimp realises colour-management by using a working-colour-space, a monitor-colour-space to get a good vision on a monitor and a printer-colour-space to be able to render print-previews.

Image Info

Creates a new layer containing the following information about the current image:

  • custom title
  • complete path & filename
  • image size
  • resolution

Helpful when you print lots of images and then you try to identify one of them.

    Manny Librodo Script

This implements a sharpening technique as described at
    http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=1085
This is Manny Librodo's Sharpening moves. You can give it a try and you will be surpised with the quality. One caveat, there really is no one set formula for sharpening so you may want to experiment with different amounts for different images.

    Wavelet decompose

This plugin losslessly decomposes a layer of an image into layers of wavelet scales. This means that you can edit the image on different detail scales (frequencies). The trivial recomposition of the image can be done by GIMP's layer modes so you can see the results of your modifications instantly. Among the applications are retouching, noise reduction, and enhancing global contrast.

    Gimp ace-0.6.7 Win32

Fresh Windows compilation of Gimp ace2 (Adaptive Contrast Enhancement) plugin. 50 Kb exe, 20 Kb zip. No console window.

    Color Scheme Helper for Gimp

A Python plugin that start the color scheme designer Agava for creating a new color scheme. The created color scheme can be saved as a Gimp color palette and loaded into Gimp.
