Line Border

A script to create a border around an image. Border can contains additional lines (inner and outer). Size of lines and distance to image/border can be set independently. The bottom border can be extended and can contains text. There is no auto extension according to text size. The text is always in the middle of the bottom border.

Shadows and Highlights

This plugin does a pretty good job of eliminating shadows and highlights in photographs. It gives you two layers that basically act like adjustment layers, and changing the opacity will alter the effect.

This is a compilation of some wonderfull scripts of Iccii and some other scripts I 've made myself, all brought together is one script-fu file to make the installation very simple.

Add multiple guides

This plugin adds multiple guidelines to the actual image.
New guides can be simply added by pressing the "Add"-button. The last guide can be deleted by pressing the "Remove"-Button.
This tool is very useful if you make weblayouts and don't want to select every guide from the ruler.
Remember to chmod+x the file. Put it in "plug-ins"-folder.

Subtract Small Selection Isles

Subtract small isles from the current selection and/or add small unselected isles to the current selection. The parameters pixel_diagonal and pixel_limit are used to define area size that is considered as small isle.
New since release 1.1: fixed crash when processing large selections, added progress handling

colortemp

This script converts the color temperature of an image. You can specify the color temperature of the original image, and the desired color temperature of the result, as well as a brightness correction factor. The script installs itself under the menu Filters/Colors/Convert Color Temperature.

whitebalance

This script converts the colors of an image, so that the foreground color (chosen, e.g., with the color picker tool) is either transformed to gray, or to the background color. The script can be used to remove color casts. The script installs itself under the menu Filters/Colors/White balance.

Blur Map

Applies Gaussian blurs using different radii for different parts of the image, according to a map.

RAWTex

RAWTex is a save plugin for GIMP 2.2.x, 2.3.x & 2.4.x allowing to create raw textures for the PC, PSP, NDS, PS2 or any other architecture handling chunky or compressed dxtc formats.

It can save raw RGBA (5650, 5551, 4444 or 8888) & indexed (T4, T8) textures (with 5650, 5551, 4444 or 8888 palette modes support) as well as DXTC (DXT1, DXT3, DXT5) compresssed ones, it supports the PSP textures swizzle mode and can generate mipmaps, it also have a color key feature to handle transparency and can convert grayscale pictures into alpha channel only textures.

Save for Web

Save for Web allows to find compromise between minimal file size and acceptable quality of image quickly. While adjusting various settings, you may explore how image quality and file size change. Options to reduce file size of an image include setting compression quality, number or colors, resizing, cropping, Exif information removal, etc.
