Loader for NASA/ESA PDS/EDR images

This plugin loads NASA/ESA PDS/EDR images.

PDS/EDR format is the image format used by NASA Planetary Data System
and by ESA Planetary Science Archives. PDS images from various space

Focus Blur

Focus Blur plug-in is blurring effect, a kind of called DoF. This software makes a out of focus with luminosity and depth, like a sight or lenses. It can be used with depth map, depth fakes and shine effect. Also it can work as simple and applicable blur.

vintage look

This script-fu for The Gimp is a attempt to simulate a vintage look.

Rotating Brush Assistant

This script help to set up a rotating (animated) brush. Starting with one (or more) brush images, it will create rotated copies of that image in a way to allow saving the file as a gih.

Just start with an image oriented in the "drawing upwards" direction:

and run the script. With the defaults it will create a new image having all the rotated copies:

Separate+

Separate+ is the plug-in package that provides some useful color-management functions for the GIMP.

separate
RGB to CMYK conversion / Softproofing plug-in (improved version of Alastair M. Robinson's "Separate" plug-in)
icc_colorspace
RGB to RGB conversion / Profile management plug-in
separate_import (bonus)
CMYK TIFF import plug-in which generates the pseudo-composite image

Current release: version 0.5.8 released at November 9,2010

Pseudo Tone Fixer

This script tries to fix the tone of a photo taken with wrong exposure. In some landscape photos, it can have a nice effect of enhancing the colors.

The general idea is to produce different copies of the image at different gamma levels, then applying simple tone mapping techniques to produce a vibrant photo.

The script allows the user to control the number of copies by setting the lowest and highest gamma setting then the interval. For example lowest=20, highest=170, interval=10 results to (170-20)/10 = 15 copies with increasing gamma level from 0.2 to 1.7. Play around!

lay out lay in layers

purpose of this plugin is, to lay out and lay in a group of consecutive layers of an image
(a humble kind of collapse and expand groups of layers)
"collapse":
a determinable number of layers (including the active layer) will be stored (layed out) in a new image.
the name of this image is a time stamp ("%Y%m%d-%H%M%S") plus the string ".xcf".
e.g. 20080117-192642.xcf.
the visible layed out layers will be merged down to a single layer in the source image.
the name of this layer is the above mentioned time stamp.
"expand":

Blue Sky & Clouds

To fix burned out or white skies by adding clouds and a blue sky gradient (using a threshold mask).
