Colors and grain

This is a very simple script for method of image processing othen used by myself - splitting picture into a two assembled layers: colors and grain. This gives us a very lot of capabilities of changing picture without making a hard artefacts inside it.

You can read more about the script, with a sample of use here:
http://leoblog.ru/?Proekty:Pesni_pro_grafiku:Skript_dlya_GIMP_avtomatizi...

p.s. i'm also add a second version - for a slow machines; it do same thing, but by the little diffrent way.

Pile's photos effect

New version (probably the last): add "work on copy" option. (gimp_pile_photo_woc.zip)

New version with random Hue Lightness and Saturation. (gimp_pile_photo_hls.zip)

This plug-in allows you to split an image into many small overlapping images.

Lightning Bolt

This is a script to generate animated lightning bolts, like the one below, with various options.

Lightning

Here is a quick summary of the options for this script:

Image X and Y size: Controls the dimensions of the final image. Recommended dimensions are a really tall image.
Number of frames: Number of frames (layers) in the final image.

Instability: large values make for quick fluctuations and jagged lightning, small values make for gentler curves

Wood Grain

A simple script to generate a wood grain pattern. You can control for the dimensions of the resultant pattern. Results are generated in a new layer in the active image.

Wood Grain

Version two (sf-will-wood-gradient.scm) allows you to control banding frequency, and specify your own colours

Flames

A script to generate an animated fire, tileable horizontally. Requires the "Incandescent" gradient that comes with the GIMP

After

Has the following options:
Image X and Y size: controls the size of the resultant image
Vertical and Horizontal Scale: controls the scale of the flames.
Flame Height: controls the maximum height of the flames as a fraction of the image height.
Detail: controls the detail on the flames, but too much makes them look strange
Gradient: Choose a different gradient to use

FIL 1.7.2

FIL (Film Imitation Lab) is a powerful script for old photo simulation. FIL has a modular architecture and can use binary extension (plugins).

Current version: v1.7.2 (June 14th 2013).

Features:

Manual Lens filter (batch script)

This plug-in changes color balance to imitate images taken with Manual / Classic lenses but without any effect of degradation similar to images made with toy lenses.

Version 0.1.2:
Introduces Linux support.

Copy the .scm file to:

Spirograph Curves

This is a simple python script, which creates spirograph type curves. There are endless varieties which can be generated. There is a page on my site with some documentation:

http://www.andyshelley.co.uk/gimpfarris/index.php

Edge Glow

A simple script to make the edges of a selection or layer glow with the selected colour. The script will act on the active selection first, and if it cannot find that, the alpha channel of the current layer. All changes are made to a separate layer so you can duplicate, mask and move them around to your heart's content.

Draw guides

Draw guides is a simple script which draws guides using current pencil on the current layer. Useful if you want to see guides when you print the image.
