Sierpinski Fractal Shapes

These two scripts make Sierpinksi fractals. One does a triangle, and one does a carpet. The attached pictures show what happens when the scripts are run with the default values. You can change the sizes and colors, as wel as making the "holes" in each of the shape transparent.

These two scripts are both found in the Filters -> SambrookJM -> Sierpinksi. No, they're not overly useful scripts, but someone out there may find a use for them.

Enjoy!

Traditional Animation - GIMP Lightbox

The Lightbox scripts have been created to make animating 'Frame by frame' easier and more intuitive in Gimp.
It does this by trying to emulate animating traditionally.

The scripts helps organise layers into separate sections allowing Frames, Colour and Backgrounds.
These can all be added and organised from the Animate menu which the script adds.

These layers can then be viewed, composited and exported as an moving animation, .gifs or .tif image sequences for editing.

Crossword Grid

Gino D's GIMP Scripts: https://sites.google.com/site/ginodonig/gimp-scripts

Overview

This script creates an image filled with a texture that represents a crossword grid featuring a random distribution of shaded cells.

Highpass sharpening

Highpass sharpening script (this is my first script for Gimp).
This technique is described by Rolf Steinort in episode 164 of the Meet the Gimp! video podcast.
You can run it from: Filters -> SkYNeT -> Enhance -> High Pass Sharpening
Because script makes a new layer from visible, make sure you have visible only layer you wish to sharpen. Other layers must be non visible.

Rore's split-toning

This GIMP script is a slightly modified implementation of Rore's split-toning technique here: http://gimp-tutorials.net/GIMP-split-toning-tutorial

Simple Wavelet Decompose

GIMP registry already has two pretty good filters that implements wavelet decompose: "Wavelet decompose" and "Wavelet Decompose Script-Fu". Despite the fact that these filters can be used to retouch images, I made his own.

The reasons for this "reinventing the wheel" are simple:

Chroma Denoise

This script reduces chroma noise in picture by selective blurring in color channels of "LAB" or "YCbCr" color models and masking dark areas of the result.

More detailed description in Russian

Apply image as dark frame to a batch of image files

Applies the currently open image to a batch of images as a dark frame, for the removal of hot-pixels in sequences of images.  Suitable for timelapse or other animations taken in low light with non-RAW images where dark frames typically cannot be applied on opening.

Can act on all images in a directory, on a range of images between two specified (default) or on a single image.  Output files have a specified prefix, a sequentially numeric suffix (eg Frame00001.jpg) from a specified starting number.  The output directory may be specified, or the input directory used.

Export Layers

A script to save the layers of an image as separate files in a specified directory. Allows the user to specify the structure of the exported filenames (exported file type is determined by extension).
