Cross-Process (Python version with options)

OK - so I saw this plugin today:
Cross Processing (Xpro) http://registry.gimp.org/node/25007
Which is based on this excellent tutorial by jEsuSdA: http://www.jesusda.com/blog/index.php?id=375

After running through the tutorial, I decided to write another version of the plug-in with a few options.

This plug-in requires Python. If you have the 'Filters->Python-Fu->Console' menu item you are all set. If not, install Python support for GIMP.
The plugin can be found under Filters>Artistic>Cross-Process. Don't forget to make the plugin executable.

Options:

Pile's photos effect

New version (probably the last): add "work on copy" option. (gimp_pile_photo_woc.zip)

New version with random Hue Lightness and Saturation. (gimp_pile_photo_hls.zip)

This plug-in allows you to split an image into many small overlapping images.
Filters-->Decor-->Pile's Photos

Darken Frames

This plugin is creating a number frames around a selection with increasing opacity. Rectangle, ellipse and diamond possible. Example see http://www.gimp-atelier.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=358

You will find this script on GIMP at Filters / Gimp-Atelier/Darken Frames ++ or if you are working with menu with reduced size (height 755 pixel) at Filters / Gimp-Atelier/Darken Frames

English version: darkenframes_en.zip
Reduced Menu: darkenframeswin_en.zip
Documentation: http://www.gimp-atelier.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2251#p2251

Line Border 2

A python conversion of my script-fu Line border script (http://registry.gimp.org/node/118). This version uses python-glade dialogs. It allows to create smaller and much clever input dialog and integrate much more functions. On other side, due to missing support of glade dialogs from Gimp, there is not possble to run this script in batch mode.

Current features:

Manual Lens filter (batch script)

This plug-in changes color balance to imitate images taken with Manual / Classic lenses but without any effect of degradation similar to images made with toy lenses.

See samples:

After Manual Lens filter:

Version 0.1.2:
Introduces Linux support.

Copy the .scm file to:

Windows Vista/7 C:\Users\[USER]\.gimp-2.6\scripts

Golden Ratio guides

Based on Guillermo Maldonado Rule of Thirds, the script adds Golden Ratio guides to the image.

Initial image

Automaticly copies the image and insert this. The script creates a Layer-Mask and makes a part of the insert layer invisible.
It's great to have a part of the original image on the top, because than you have a very well comparision.

If you have any suggestions for improvement contact me.

Please notice: It's only version 1.0.0, so I hope it will be better in near future!

I hope this example conform your requests:

BW Colorizer

This extension allows you to add dominants to your black and white (or colour) photos.
In the "Layer mask" mode the dominant is balanced with a mask, such that your whites remains whites.
The homepage is in Italian but you can see some screenshots and examples there. Please note also that the plugin is in English.

MathMap

I just notice that MathMap one of the better Gimp Plugin is not listed here.
To present it i just quote its developer Mark Probst
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MathMap is an image processing application that works on several levels:

* Without any prerequisite knowledge about image processing, one can use any of the more than one hundred filters that come bundled with MathMap.

Pencil drawing

The script makes a pencil drawing from a photo. It's very easy to handle.
The original tutorial can be found here: http://www.gimpusers.com/tutorials/making-a-pencil-drawing-from-a-photo....
