Morphological Operators

A set of morphological operators for GIMP:
- erosion and dilation
- opening and closing
- boundary extraction and gradient
- hit-or-miss
- thickening and thinning
- skelethonization
- white and black top-hat

The plugin is tested to work on GIMP starting from 2.6 version.

Add EXIF Info to Image

This plugin, when combined with Phil's Exiftool, will place EXIF data from your image directly onto your image as text layers.

It currently will place Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, and camera Make.

All I did in modifying it was to (in windows only) have each EXIF tag be placed on the image canvas as separate text layers for further modification (font, size, justification, etc...).

Subtle Vignette

This script places a subtle reduction in brightness at the periphery of an image using a radial gradient. The method is non-destructive and customizable in that it creates a new layer that can be deleted or modified to suit personal preference. The intent is to save a few button clicks on a frequently repeated processing task.

CD/DVD Disc Jewel Case Cover Label Template - US Letter Size - Front + Back

Template for creating/printing CD/DVD disc jewel case cover labels, it uses a standard US letter size (8.5 x 11 inch) at 600x600 DPI and works with any disc jewel case cover sheet containing the front and back aligned vertically side by side.

To install, just download the xcf image, but it is named as a .jpg since this GIMP web site does not allow GIMP's own format for some bizarre reason.

Change the extension back to .xcf and open it in GIMP.

Create a new layer below the template layer and start adding in your "content".

CD/DVD Disc Label Template - US Complete

Template for creating/printing CD/DVD disc labels, it uses a standard US letter size (8.5 x 11 inch) at 600x600 DPI and works with most disc label sheets. It is modelled after the Fellows/NEATO disc label template US complete (the one that has 2 disc labels with core labels, multi purpose labels, and spline labels).

To install, just download the xcf image, but it is named as a .jpg since this GIMP web site does not allow GIMP's own format for some bizarre reason.

Change the extension back to .xcf and open it in GIMP.

MagicLantern compatible YUV422 raw file (.422) Loader/Saver

This plug-in implements load and save of MagicLantern compatible YUV422 raw files.
MagicLantern is a free software add-on for Canon EOS cameras. This software
can take "silent pictures" as snapshot of the Camera Display
and saves them as uncompressed raw YUV422 files with extension .422.

The silent picture feature is useful to record timelapse sequences without moving the mirror
of the camera.
If you want to process such sequences of .422 images with GIMP (or GIMP-GAP) you should install
this file-raw-yuv422 plug-in.
