GAT Tools (handling multiple guides)

GAT stands for GIMP-Atelier. We are present a set of tools to handle guides.

With this package you could create multiple guides in one step, could use predefined guide sets e.g. Golden Ratio or Third Rule, save to and load from File your own sets.  read more »

Crosshair Guides

This script puts guides at 50% Vertical and 50% Horizontal, to create a crosshair at the exact center of image/layer.

10% Edge Guides

This script sets guides at a 10% border around the image.

Rule of Thirds

This script set's guide at the "Rule of Thirds" lines.

Draw guides

Draw guides is a simple script which draws guides using current pencil on the current layer. Useful if you want to see guides when you print the image.

Golden Ratio guides

Based on Guillermo Maldonado Rule of Thirds, the script adds Golden Ratio guides to the image.

Spaced V-Guides

This script creates a series of V-Guides in the image at the user defined spacing. The user also specifies if the guides should start from the left, center, or right side of the image.

Spaced H-Guides

This script creates a series of H-Guides in the image at the user specified spacing. The user also indicates if the guides should start at the top, center, or bottom of the image.

Border Guides

A simple script that creates guides to border the canvas. The user is prompted for separate X and Y offsets.

Center Guides

A simple script that creates a horizontal and a vertical guide at the center of the image. The script is found under "Image | Guides".
