Collect Layers

This script collects layers from open images and puts them into a new image.
This is useful if you open a couple of images at once from an external program like digikam or similar and want to e.g. average layers (-> see my Average Layer plugin).

Average Layer

This script is intended for a series of photographs with (on each photgraph different) unwanted objects on it, e.g. a large place with moving people.

For The Gimp 2.2 or lower version (which uses the SIOD Scheme interpreter), I suggest you use the Aqua bou version 2.2 .

Silicosaur PhotoFX

Silicosaur PhotoFX is a collection of script-fu macros for GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) to easily simulate development methods and film types used by photographers of pre-digital age.

By using Silicosaur PhotoFX you can simulate Portra, Provia, an Velvia film characteristics and Cross Processing (aka. X-PRO) effects.

Lomo

It tries to replicate lomography effect. It also tries C41 color curves. If someone has better color curve for this. Do tell

Tone mapping

It reduces global contrast in images while increasing local contrast and shadow/highlight detail. Use this to make your images "pop."

"Google Logo" Script

This script creates shiny-looking 3D logos, similar to that of a well-known search engine.

The original script lives under Filters → Alpha to Logo → Google Effect. It creates a 3D logo from an existing image. For example, this:

Translucent border

Creates an outer border of the image with reduced brightness and 2 inner colours.
