This program is intended to help make tuckboxes used to store cards for board games. It is flexible enough to create boxes for any size cards, with or without sleeves. It uses the dimensions of the stack of cards to create the box geometry in the gimp and also creates the layers and layer masks necessary to add art to the box without having to resize the art to exactly the same size as the side.

The attached Script-fu file is a modified version of B-Ranger's arrow drawing script. This version allows arrows to follow curved paths (splines) as well as maintaining the original scripts ability to draw straight arrows. (See http://registry.gimp.org/node/20269 for the original script)
This is a script that transforms a black and white simple drawing into a map like image with grass and sea. I tested it only on my machine, and it take several seconds to run and create a reasonable looking figure. All my tests where tried on a 500x500 image with 200x200 dpi resolution.
My machine (the only one I tested this on) is Lenovo edge. It has a i3 processor (don't remember the exact model) and 6GB of RAM. I run Ubuntu 13.04 and gimp 2.8.4 on it.
I have recently completed some work with the G'MIC team that I thought might be worth a post here as a heads up.
I have many film emulation presets that I've been working on for a while, and wanted to share with the GIMP community at large. The problem was finding the best way to package up these presets for everyone to use.
I started talking with the G'MIC team about it, and finally settled on packaging up the presets in G'MIC.
So, here is a just a small sample of what some of the presets look like (lowest strength setting):
Update 20 Sept 13: Version 3.1 released
This plugin is aimed at artists using a tablet and consists primarily of two parts:
1. - A function to automatically draw perspective guide lines for up to 3 vanishing points over an existing canvas (including with vanishing points outside the edges of the canvas)
2. - a collection of cycle tools which can be bound to tablet side buttons:
- cycle erase mode (changes paint mode from erase to normal - tool/pointer doesn't change be careful)
- cycle dynamics (cycles dynamics from Dynamics Off to Pressure Opacity)
