hello,

I'm new to gimp, and I would like to install plug-ins, but I don't know how.
I have Gimp 2.4.4 installed on windows vista
I have downloaded rainbow plasma.scm, but i don't know what to do next, Gimp itself won't open it...
(it says it doesn't recognize the file)

Can anyone please help me step-by-step? I can't figure it out with the other posts about the plug-ins

I have the exact same problem not very familiar with Gimp I am trying but, it seems as though Vista is an outsider in the Gimp world any suggestions would be helpful.
