Resynthesizer Help

I downloaded the plugg in off the site. I went to run the resynth.exe file and I get the error this application has failed to start because libgimp-2.0-0.dell was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I downloaded the libgimp-2.0-0.dll on my desk top but what folder do I need to put it in now for the resynth.exe files recognize its there?

I tried just putting the Resynth.exe file in the plug in folder and I tried putting the scripts in the scripts folder but I didn't see Gimp picking them up.

Can anyone tell me how they installed this pluggin??? Thanks

Windows 7, perchance?

I see that your post is pretty old, but if anyone has this issue with the plugin installer on Win 7, I had the same issue. Right-click on the .exe and run as Administrator.

that exe is not a installer,

that exe is not a installer, the error come by clicking on the file as was a installer, or maybe hoping that the way to run plugins

Instead file has to be moved in a gimp plugin folder, and the plugin launched trough the gimp menu
(i suppose will be somewhere in Filter/map

I work with windows xp
I downloaded and did what this site explained and got it working
exe file in plug ins folder
replaced also the patched version of smart-remove.scm
scm files in the script folder
