Silicosaur PhotoFX is a collection of script-fu macros for GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) to easily simulate development methods and film types used by photographers of pre-digital age.
By using Silicosaur PhotoFX you can simulate Portra, Provia, an Velvia film characteristics and Cross Processing (aka. X-PRO) effects.

I like this set of scripts a lot. I find that sometimes applying VelviaFX to a photo straight out of camera is enough to make it shine. I made a comparison of all four effects applied to the same image.
How about Kodachrome?
