i am having problems using my scanner .i keep getting plug in crashed twain exe. i really need my scanner could you please help me?

Twain crash with scanner

Same problem here with my Plustek OpticFilm 7200 scanner on Windows XP. Worked fine with Gimp 2.6.7 for 83 frames and now only gives me twain plugin error message. Is there a patch or update for the twain plugin?

No. The TWAIN-Plug-in is

No. The TWAIN-Plug-in is unmaintained, the last time anyone did changes to it was when the OS X-specific code was added.
