GIMP Plugin Registry

I am somewhat new to the GIMP and have been trying to find a way to create default picture packages (such as can be made in Automate>>Picture Package... in PS). Is there a script or other method to accomplish this? I know I can manually arrange the pictures on the page and set guides to help, but I am wondering if there is anything available that will do this automatically.
