how to open a CMYK image with GIMP

I ever heard there's a plug in or something that make CMYK image opened in GIMP.
anybody can explain me..?? or if you have another wonderful way, that would be great too..

would you like to tell me about CMYK TIFF,,,
i google it when i want to know about CMYK in Gimp,, but i dont understand at all...
