How to change Gimp from German to English

Hi
I installed Gimp from an English Version which is http://www.gimp.org but whenever he installs it - it installs the German Version. My OS is in Swiss German well German but I would like to change Gimp into English - how do I do that. Thanks for your help - its possible someone has asked the same question I looked around and didnt see such a question - in case im being redudant - pls forgive me.

If you're using Microsoft Windows, then there may be two changes to that:
- I don't think that current versions install the language selector the the Start menu anymore
- recent builds of GIMP may offer a language selection in the preferences (if they have been built with the iso-codes library).
Environment variables will work as documented on all platforms, though.

I had a look at both links as well but they are for an XP user but I have Vista and that didnt help me at all.

Vista has also a control
Vista has also a control panel or something similair; look here for system --> tab: advanced --> environment variables.
I had the same discussion for windows 7 on the dutchgimpers.nl site. If you can read Dutch you can search also here.

Problem solved
Wow my problem has been solved. I just clicked on the .bat file on my desktop and an English Version of Gimp appeared.
I feel like embracing the whole world.
Thanks all of you for your help - I was even trying to learn Dutch and I understood a bit.
