Resynthesizer Plugin Will Not Work

I am using GIMP 2.6.12 on a laptop and my operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. I am new to GIMP and not particularly computer literate so please bear with me.

I downloaded the Plugin for the Resynthesizer by following the post titled "Resynthesizer win64 + Heal selection + Pattern fill" by denis111 and clicking on the link resynthesizer-0.16-win64.zip. Next I unzipped the files and copied them to the plug-ins and script folders in the .gimp-2.6 folder, located in the Users folder in my C drive.

When I then started GIMP I received an error message saying that the libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll file could not be located. I spent a long time searching online and eventually managed to download the dll file (the link to do this in one of the posts in the thread below the resynthesizer download will not work because the site is blocked - I live in the UAE). I pasted the file into the bin directory, located in C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0 and again re-started GIMP. I now receive a new error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application".

However, GIMP opens and the "Heal selection" option has now appeared under the Filters - Enhance menu but when I try to use the tool I receive another error message stating "Error while executing script-fu-smart-remove. Error: Eval: unbound variable: plug-in-resynthesizer".

I would appreciate some assistance to get the resynthesizer plugin working please, explained in a way that someone who only knows the basics of computers can follow. Thanks.
