Closing the GIMP batch window non-interactively

Here is what I am trying to do:

I have a GIMP script that does batch processing of all of the images in a directory. What I am trying to do is run this script inside of a DOS batch file. The DOS batch looks something like this:

Run the command that makes the images
Run the GIMP Script to process the images
Go to a new directory
Run the command that makes the images
Run the GIMP Script to process the images
Go to a new directory
....
and so on until everything is done.

The problem that I'm having is that I don't know how to close the window that opens up when you run GIMP in batch mode once the GIMP batch is completed. The DOS batch will not continue until the GIMP batch window is closed. Is there a way to have the GIMP batch window close as soon as the GIMP batch is completed? If so, how do you do that?

If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the help.
