My Intous 3 isn't working, but my mouse works sort of

I need help, I have windows 7 and I just downloaded the latest version of gimp 2.6, but it doesn't support my wacom intuos 3 pen, and it works with the mouse, except it's displaced and doesn't paint where my mouse is. I was wondering if there is something I could download that will fix this, or If there even is a way to fix this? I've tried resetting my preferences and it didn't work.

My immediate thought is, have you upgraded to the latest driver? Check out the official Wacom site: http://www.wacom.com/downloads/drivers.php

Aaa! Yay, I ended up restarting and configuring the inputs again and now it works :D YAY!! Thank you!
