help identifying plugin

ive been wallpaper hunting lately and ive been seeing alot of a similiar style wallpaper and im really interested in finding out if there is a plugin that makes it or if there is a steps to tmake this, there are 100's of them out in the net so im gonna assume its a plugin. well here are some examples. it sems like a flame fractal is sprouted from the picture layer.

There are good efforts with similar results using the G'MIC filter "Artstic / B&W Sketch" http://www.flickr.com/groups/gmic/discuss/72157624425214456/

thanks for the info, i might whip out my creditcard for a photoshop version just because of this plugin.. although i might have to think about it for a few xD

The result that you linked is definitely Fractilus. It's quite a unique filter for sure (but not free). You can coax G'MIC b/w sketch along with so G'MIC PhotoComix Smoothing to help achieve a little of this look, but still no cigar though. :)
