I know this seems to be a common topic, but there have also been newer developments put out since. I created a file in GIMP and saved as psd, since I am an ex-PS user and being new to GIMP I wasn't aware of this bug. After putting hours in on a new logo design, I saved and closed (yes, I do frequent saves while working as well), but when I came back later to open again I received the error message: error loading psd file unsupported compression mode: 59337. I searched and found this to be common issue in the version I had loaded, so I loaded the most recent version I could find of GIMP (v 2.6.7), yet I still receive the same error message when trying to open the file. Please help! I can't afford to lose days of work on this logo!!
