GIMP message when trying to register scripts

Hi. I get the following message when trying to register some scripts. I got basically the same message for more than one script. Does anyone know what I can do to rectify this?

Thanks

GIMP Message

Plug-in "script-fu.exe"
(C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\script-fu.exe)
attempted to register the menu item "/Filters/Eg" for procedure "script-fu-Eg-Infrared".
The menu label given in gimp_install_procedure() already contained a path. To make this work, pass just the menu's label to gimp_install_procedure().

Forums:

Hi. Just wanted to mention it is a Windows Vista operating system (32 bit).

Thanks

it looks like you have two versions of the same script being called from different locations. Check and see if you if you have duplications of scripts.

I had this very problem when I installed the same script in both GIMP script folders, inadvertently. I had to remove one of them. If this isn't the case, hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

Thanks. I checked that, but I could not find any duplicates (I'll keep looking just in case).

Interestingly, both of the issues that I have involve scripts from Eg. The first is script-fu-Eg-Infrared, and the second script-fu-Eg-SmartSharpen. I do have other scripts from Eg that seem to be doing just fine. Wonder what is different here.

The problem is that the name that gimp assign to the script
is not the file name (as EG infrared.scm)

So is possible do not notice duplicates just because they have different names (as example FX_Foundry rename and change the registration path all the scripts they offer..that make easier get clones of the same scripts without noticing)

Anyway i am not sure if is a real problem or if instead that error messages are simply warnings...to advert that there is something incorrect (as example in the script registration path) but
is not a critical error that may prevent the script to work

I tried to execute one of the scripts (EG-Infrared), and I got an error message that it could not be executed because there were not enough arguments. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

Thanks.
