Are we allowed to ask about other Gimp forums here?

Anyway, I wanted to know what happened to GimpTalk forum. Anybody know?

BTW, How are plugins installed? I have Gimp on Puppy Linux and I wanted a few plugins (mostly the script-fu's) that were not included with the version I got. I like the drop shadow effect and I have missed that.
