Anyone know where to get the plasma2 plug-in source?

I've been going crazy trying to find the plasma 2 source. I managed to find a Linux binary for it that survived my system crash, but I no longer have the source for it. I am interested in making some enhancements to it to create custom color palettes and the gradient color sourcing creates very poor clouds; they way too defined borders. I wish to create backgrounds for photo portraits that look like an "old master" background effect.
