How do I install Seperate+ in Windows?

I am clueless... all the other plug-ins I got were just one .scm file that I put in the scripts folder, but the Seperate+ one is a .zip file with a bunch of files in it. I moved the only two .scm files I found into the scripts folder (quickproof and quicksave), and the Seperate menu option appeared, but when I run quickproof it comes back with an error.

Please help!!

Thx anon

Followed your instructions - when I do a couple of png images I exported from Inkscape (photo or spot color image) , the converted tiff cmyk image loses the anti-alias feature of the png.

Do you have an idea on this?

Thx
Chris

How I did it

Install Gimp 2.6

To install the Adobe ICC profiles, you can get ZIPed profiles at the Adobe web site:
adobe.com/support/downloads/iccprofiles/iccprofiles_win.html

after downloading them and unzipping the folder, go to RBG folder and select them all. Then right click and "install Profile". Repeat for cmyk folder.

Download Separate+ and Liblcms-1 from
cue.yellowmagic.info/softwares/separate.html

Copy the plugins "separate.exe" and "separate_import.exe" (in bin>win32* folder) to:
%PROGRAMFILES%\gimp-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\

Also copy the "liblcms-1.dll" (from second download) support library to:
%PROGRAMFILES%\gimp-2.0\bin\

**If you want to install the localized massage catalog, copy the .gmo file
into the correct folder and rename to "gimp20-separate.mo".
e.g.
> cd separate+-0.5.x\po
> copy ja.gmo "%PROGRAMFILES%\gimp-2.0\share\locale\ja\LC_MESSAGES\gimp20-separate.mo"

**(I don't know what this last "massage catalog" part means, so I just ignored it)

It worked for me after this.

The "import" option desn't work

I did exactly what you wrote.
I'm trying to import a PSD CMYK file but the option to import such file is still unavailable.

Does anyone have an idea how to do it?

Thanks

The "import" option desn't work

try to repeat the step done for the RGB ICC profile,
for the CMYK profile

(i guess you installed only the RGB)
