To Split Image

This is my alternative for 'To slice and merge images' (see http://registry.gimp.org/node/14953).

Two script for:
1. Set width and height rectangle to split and set as separate layer
2. Split in rows and columns and save any rectangular portion in the new layer

What this script does

I downloaded the script to try it out, and it's interesting. Click on my username and go to my blog to see a short image-review of what it does. (Spam filter won't let me post links) Marc (open source design guy)
