The name given to the setting are cryptic but default give a good indication of possible use

If you know Level and Curves, well it doesn't work in the same way but can be used for similar purposes, as example reveal details almost lost in the original i shadows or highlight

Dynamic Range Transform Plugin Win32

If you use windows you may found easier download and install from here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/114517940/

Then if you can use the plugin with a english interface (i suppose so since you wrote in english ) you have just to extract the exe and move it in one of the gimp plugin folder.

Anyway in the translations folder are available also French, Italian ,and Russian translation, in case move them in the correspondent gimp folder (../share/locale/ ..then fr,it or ru)

Plugin is the same,same build ,i just split from the source code for easier installation

there is more info in the page comment and in a text or PDF file included
