Focus Blur plug-in is blurring effect, a kind of called DoF. This software makes a out of focus with luminosity and depth, like a sight or lenses. It can be used with epth map, depth fakes and shine effect. Also it can work as simple and applicable blur.

I think this plug-in would be totally awesome, but my computer says it is by an unknown publisher and I cannot download it.

i think the real problem is that you may use Windows Xp or Vista while the link is for linux (and/or to compile by yourself, but few user on windows want compile )

There is a recent windows version ready but for some reason the link is missed in the descrition.

may be also listed here on this side :i'can't remember where i found i may only remember that was compiled by Michael Shoemaker, and that is slower then the linux verson (technically because was compiled without Flex) but when i used worked at decent speed .

I i found a link i will post here but i am sure with Google you may found it

Great plugin

This plugin is totally sick - you can get fancy stuff like sparkle effects based on luminosity and it's easy to create a depth map in GIMP if you don't already have one on hand.
