Unable to open eps files in Vista with GIMP 2.4.5

When I attempt to open .eps files, I get an error message. I have attached a picture of the message so you can see what I am talking about. I do not know exactly what this means, but I hope someone can help out. If not, well then that's too bad for me. I await an answer.
