where to find gimptool for Mac OSX 10.5.5

Hello everybody I am new to writing plug-ins for GIMP.

I am using a macbook running OSX 10.5.5

I have the latest version of gimp installed through macports.

I have been looking for installing gimptool-2.0 to be able to install my plug-ins.

but can't find any :( or may be i am searching in the right way!

anyway I will really appreciate if any one can tell me or give me pointers on how to install necessary tools to write gimp plug-ins in MacOSX.
