TESEO2: Turn the Eldest Seismograms in the Electronic Original Ones Teseo2 has been developed for quick and accurate digitisation of historical seismograms from raster files, introducing a vectorisation step based on piecewise cubic Bezier curves. The vectoriser can handle greyscale images stored in a suitable file format and it offers three concurrent vectorisation methods: manual, automatic by colour selection, and automatic by neural networks. Teseo2 is developed in respect to the "Open-Source" philosophy and it is freely distributed under GPL license. It is cross-platform and the sources, the binaries for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X are periodically provided by the web site http://teseo.rm.ingv.it/pub/teseo/ (the current stable version is 2.0.16). Further information and documentation are available at http://teseo.rm.ingv.it/ Teseo is part of Sismos project at Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia in Rome.
