Printing failure

Would someone pleeeease help me get this program to print for me. All I'm getting is an error report from Microsoft stating that print.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. And then when I click on the debug button I get a message from GIMP that states: Plug-in crashed: "print.exe"
(C:\Program Files\Gimp-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\print.exe)

The dying plug-in may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

What the heck is going on. Very frustrating when this is a basic function.

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Same problem as Mike

Hi, I get the same message as Mike, and so can not print out my picture. This was with 2.6.3 version, so I upgraded to 2.6.4, but this has exactly the same problem. As I run a real windows XP with SP 3 installed, I sent Bill the error report. Does any one have any idea what I should try next??? Thanks loads Martin

Furthure information

System set up: Windows XP Professional w/ SP3. Printer is an Epson D68. Printing worked without any issues in GIMP version 2.6.2. When upgraded to 2.6.3+ and finally 2.6.5, print.exe continues to crach, producing the following error reports for both Windows and GIMP: Windows error report: AppName: print.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.5512 Offset: 0001aa01 GIMP error report: Plug-in crashed: "print.exe" (C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\print.exe) I have attempted to recreate this bug on another computer with same version of Windows XP, but has an Epson C44U, installed over a networked print server. The error with this set up does not recreate. Regards
