Here is the result with default parameters :
Version 2.4.1 is for Gimp 2.4 and Gimp 2.6.3 (and upper).

Your script is nowhere to be found in my GIMP, and I've looked in everything to be sure :-/ ... it's in the scripts file folder so there's something weird going on with it ???

I have similar trouble
I have gimp 2.2 w/ Gimpshop hack installed and I cant find any third party plugins. I put copies of the script in the /usr/share/*gimp folder name here* and then in the pug-ins folder in .gimp2.2 plugins directory in my home folder. I have restarted gimp seeral times and refreshed scripts but script fu sais it isnt there
gimpshop is a almost hopeless

More this is a script not a plugin so it should go in the script folder..but even then i doubt will work for you because is a recent script....using a so obsolete version of gimp you should search for obsolete script
Or better install a recent version of gimp as 2.6.8
