Is there anything that can correct animal red eye.
Frequently the eye is not red but ranges from white to orange
The only one I have found so far is in PSP

But in this case plugin can't automatize much, to work well they would need the pupils selected or they will remove the red ( or yellow or white or whatever) not only from the pupils but also from all the image
And once the pupils are selected most of manual work is already done:
then you have just to desaturate ( and if needed, to darken )
