I have Windows XP so if you have Windows XP...
1) Download and install GhostScript 9-.0.5
2) Make sure there it is in Windows PATH or create a path variable for it.
3) Restart your machine
4) Restart Gimp - go to File>open>open your EPS file a dialog will popup select your values and hit ok.
depending on your platform
