Where is the "Search" box?

I am having problems with this site,I used to log on and see "Layer Effects" at the top,I am new and didn't know what it was but i do now and can't find it,there is no search box to search it...sigh,HELP?Also I am signed in but don't see my name or a log out button...very confusing to me sorry.....

the search box is on the top right just above the "Recent comments"
